The Lynbrook School District is a K-12 suburban district in Nassau County on Long Island. The district services nearly 3,000 students across seven schools (a kindergarten center, three elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school). Our mission is to provide a collaborative learning environment where all stakeholders are integral to providing each and every learner with a challenging and balanced learning experience.

Employment Opportunities

Candidates for instructional and administrative positions are required to submit an online application via OLAS at www.olasjobs.org. Resumes for non-certified or non-instructional employment opportunities should be emailed to Employment@lynbrookschools.org and are accepted on a continual basis.

 

Certified Positions

These positions require certification by the state of New York. This category includes administrators, teachers, teacher assistants, pupil personnel staff, etc. All applicants must possess valid certification commensurate with the position sought in order to be considered.

The Lynbrook School District no longer accepts paper resumes for professional personnel. Candidates interested in instructional and administrative positions are required to open a file on the On-Line Application System (OLAS) at www.olasjobs.org.

 

Non-Certified and Non-Instructional Positions

These positions are governed by Nassau County Civil Service Law and procedures, and may include a competitive Civil Service test. In most cases, Nassau County Civil Service requires one year of Nassau County residency. This category includes all clerical, monitor, teacher aide, and custodial positions.
