Tutoring Services

One of the main services rendered by the National Honor Society Chapter of Lynbrook High School is academic tutoring for students at the high school.  Students who are in  need of tutoring in any particular subject should contact Mr. Leonard Bruno, advisor of the chapter at 887-0240 with the name of the student and subject.  Students or parents can also contact the student’s guidance counselor to request the tutoring.  Tutors and students requesting the tutoring will be called down by Mrs. Russo, guidance secretary, and students will make the arrangements regarding time and place.  This free tutoring service is for a maximum of one hour.

Students desirous of additional tutoring time during the week will pay a maximum sliding fee of $15 to the tutor. Middle school students requesting tutoring can make contact with the advisors of the Junior Honor Society  Chapter at the middle schools.
