SUMMER HOURS AND EMAIL MAINTENANCE

The Lynbrook Public Schools will be operating on summer hours (8 AM to 2 PM) starting July 3 to August 25.

Also, please be advised that the Lynbrook School District is upgrading its email servers from July 3 to July 14.  There may be periods of intermittent down time when staff members will be unable to send or receive email.  We ask for your patience and understanding as we go through this process.  If you have an emergency, please do not hesitate to contact administration via a phone call.

BIG FINISH FOR SPRING ATHLETES
The spring season wrapped up with a big finish for Lynbrook varsity athletes. In baseball, the varsity team earned their first conference championship since 2006. Al Marrazzo was named the Conference Coach of the Year. Senior Nick Tuzzio earned All-State baseball honors and was also named the Conference MVP.

Also bringing pride to their school, the softball team won the Nassau County Sportsmanship Award.

Senior Molly Carter was named Lynbrook's first All-American girls lacrosse player. She was also named Newsday's Nassau County Player of the Year in that sport. She scored an astounding 109 goals and 63 assists for 172 total points this season, leading the Owls to the county semifinals. She was also selected to compete in the 12th annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game.

Proving that they also take their academics seriously, the girls badminton, baseball, boys golf, girls golf, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, softball, boys tennis, boys track and girls track teams were all named NYS Scholar-Athlete teams.
