Principal's Message

Welcome to the Lynbrook Kindergarten Center!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You're on your own, and you know what you know.
And you are the guy who'll decide where to go.

Over the next 10 months we will share exciting times together.  In September we will be making new friends and learning all about your new classmates.  In October, be on the lookout for our Halloween Parade, Health & Wellness Week and our Pumpkin Patch.  At the end of November, we will have our traditional Thanksgiving Day Feast.  In December, the children will learn about different winter holidays and build beautiful Gingerbread Houses.  When we return to school for the New Year, January will bring New Year resolutions. In February, the children are so excited to celebrate the 100th Day of School, learn about Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and celebrate Valentine’s Day.  During the month of March, the children are excited to go outside during recess and explore the playground, participate in our Multi-Cultural Festival and take their Graduation Photos.  Watch out for April, Spring is around the corner and the children are busy celebrating Earth Day and getting ready for our yearly Art Show.  During the month of May, the children are learning about Metamorphosis and the Life Cycle of a plant.  June is a very special month at the Kindergarten Center.  We are practicing our songs for Graduation and celebrating our time together.
