As we approach the upcoming Easter/Passover holidays, now is the time to continue to think about those who need support. Our theme this year is a “Community of Caring” so let’s show how much we care. Take a few moments this week to write a thank you card(s) or letter(s) to our health care professionals and first responders such as police, fire, EMT and emergency care workers. This is a great family activity to do together. 
 
In addition, our families in need could use non-perishable food items for consumption during the break while schools will be on recess. Please share what you can spare.
 
A drive through drop off site will be in the Lynbrook High School parking lot on Friday and Monday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Enter in the lot from the Union Avenue entrance, drop off your items and simply drive and exit through the Kindergarten Center driveway.
 
We can show everyone that Lynbrook School District families care and support each other. Stay well!
