ParentSquare Notification Settings

We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Lynbrook Schools called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection within the Lynbrook School Community. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.

Setting up your ParentSquare account

An invitation was sent to all families with an email address recorded within PowerSchool. That message encouraged parents to confirm their ParentSquare account and set up preferences.

If you did not receive an email or encounter issues setting up your ParentSquare account, please email parentsquare@lynbrookschools.org. 

 

 

 

ParentSquare's Role

This program will replace our current notification system, ParentLink which currently sends messages via email and phone/text. There are many great features in Parent Square that we plan to phase in during the upcoming school year and we will introduce them as we roll them out. We will continue to use Parentlink until we are fully transitioned to the new program starting in August.
 

Here’s what you will be able to do with ParentSquare

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification.
  • Parents will be able update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
  • Select your preferred language. You will be able to receive all post messages and communicate in your preferred language.
  • Download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, Sign Up Requests, Photos and Files.
