Lynbrook Union Free School District offers a full-day Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Program. Please note that the number of available seats is dependent on the final passage of the state budget and the per-student funding allocations it includes. Registration announcements will begin in the spring.

Lynbrook Public Schools hosted its UPK lottery at 10:00 AM on Thursday April 24, 2025.

All UPK families will be notified via email up to 24-hours after the completion of the lottery drawing with specific instructions concerning the final registration process.
Although the deadline to apply for the lottery has passed, applications will still be accepted for the UPK program until our allotment number is met and no later than the first Wednesday of October.
From this point forward the applications received will only be considered for a seat at the JCC program.
We are all very excited to offer this opportunity to our youngest Lynbrook Owls.
