Before Care/After Care Program: Kindergarten - Grade 5

The Lynbrook School District is pleased to offer a structured and safe before care/after care program through a continued partnership with Right at School (RAS), providing a valuable support for working families.

Right At School’s before care/after care program offers a nurturing and well-organized environment where children can complete homework, enjoy a healthy snack, and participate in enriching activities such as fitness, team building, and leadership development. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, multi-sensory activities, and child-driven projects. Flexible scheduling options, including drop-in care, allow families to tailor the service to their needs.

    • Before Care Program: Kindergarten - Grade 5  (Monday – Friday)
      • The before care program for students in grades Kindergarten through 5, runs from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the Kindergarten and elementary schools. 
    • After Care Program: Kindergarten - Grade 5  (Monday – Friday)  
      • The after care program runs from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at all three elementary schools and from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Kindergarten Center. 

  • In addition, Right at School offers an extended summer playground program immediately following the District’s summer playground program, providing continued care and enrichment throughout the summer months. This program will be held at South Middle School.
