GEARING UP FOR HOMECOMING WEEKEND AND NIGHT OF THE PUMPKINS

The Lynbrook School District will hold its annual homecoming parade and PTA Scholarship Football Game this Saturday, October 25. The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Lynbrook High School, followed by a 1:30 p.m. kickoff on the Marion Street School field as the Owls take on the Glen Cove Big Reds. An exciting halftime show will feature performances from the cheerleaders, marching band and kickline.

Later that evening beginning at 6 p.m., the high school field will be transformed into a festive fall setting for Night of the Pumpkins. High school art students will use their talents to carve creatively designed jack-o-lanterns, while activities, games, refreshments and more will be offered for attendees of all ages. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved into the high school gymnasium.

Both of these highly-anticipated events welcome all members of the Lynbrook community to share in the celebrations.
