Third graders at West End Elementary School in the Lynbrook School District took part in a Thanksgiving-themed STEAM challenge.

Each student brought in a canned food item, then were challenged to create a table that would support the canned food using index cards and tape.

After the challenges were complete, the food was donated to a local food pantry.
