First grade students at West End Elementary School celebrated National Bring Your Teddy Bear to School Day. Together, the students listened to a read aloud and their teddy bears acted out a poem filled with verbs. The students also participated in other activities throughout the day such as reading about the history of teddy bears, math games and teddy bear writing. The children really enjoyed introducing their teddy bears to their friends at West End and even got a few extra snuggles.
