A total of 25 Lynbrook High School sports teams were designated as Scholar Athlete teams for the 2017-2018 school year by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. Teams that excel in the classroom are awarded with this honor at the end of each sports season. According to NYSPHSAA, the team’s average GPA for 75 percent of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.
