Under the direction of teachers Chelsea Jaret and Sara Dinowitz, second-grade students recently brought math to life as they went out to the playground to measure a variety of objects. Students were equipped with rulers, clipboards and pencils to complete a measurement scavenger hunt. All students were actively engaged and able to display their proficiency of measurement while using both inches and centimeters to find the length of objects. It was a fun afternoon indeed!
