Voyager students have earned a spot in the top 10 of the PSEG “I Am Empowered” Competition, a remarkable achievement that highlights their creativity, environmental awareness and commitment to making a difference!

The competition, hosted by PSEG Long Island, challenged students across the region to create a public service announcement (PSA) that promotes environmental awareness. Out of an impressive 244 submissions, only the top 32 were selected to be honored at a special awards ceremony held at SUNY Farmingdale State College on June 3.

Lynbrook Voyagers are proud to announce that its student team was among the top 10 winners. Their PSA stood out for its powerful message and innovative presentation. Congratulations to students Harrison Levy, Simon Barbash, Andres Zea and Benjamin Siemus for representing the Lynbrook School District with passion and purpose.

Each student received a certificate and a gift card in recognition of their accomplishment.

Mrs. Teichman shard “I am proud of our Voyagers for using their voices to inspire change and help protect our planet. Well done!”
