Students from the Lynbrook Kindergarten Center celebrated the conclusion to a year of learning during their moving up ceremony on June 22.
Families filled the bleachers in the Lynbrook High School gymnasium as graduates donned rainbow-colored mortarboards and presented multiple performances. Under the direction of music teacher Timothy Waldvogel, songs including “It’s a Small World,” “Circle of Friends” and “This Little Light of Mine” rang out from the stage as the audience cheered. The ceremony was concluded with a performance of “Skidamarink,” which was dedicated to families and friends in attendance.
Smiles were brightly worn as Principal Ellen Postman said, “With great pride and a lot of love, I now give you Lynbrook High School’s Class of 2034.”
