To raise awareness and promote the responsible use of technology, Lynbrook Police Officer Rob Meier spoke with Lynbrook North Middle School students about the risks associated with social media usage. He shared some of the harmful consequences of social media use, such as increased feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem. He spoke about responsible use to help minimize some of these symptoms.
