Lynbrook North supports Breast Cancer Awareness with heart and purpose

For the second consecutive year, Lynbrook North’s Student Council, co-chaired by Jocelyn Roslewicz and Shannon Ticas, proudly led a heartfelt initiative to support the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign, in partnership with the American Cancer Society.
Throughout the month of October, students, staff, and families came together to raise funds and awareness for this important cause. Each Wednesday, the school community wore pink to honor those we have lost, those currently battling breast cancer, and all who have been impacted. In addition, Student Council organized the sale of pink buttons and bracelets all month long.
Thanks to the incredible support from our Lynbrook North community, we surpassed our fundraising goal and are proud to contribute to such a meaningful organization. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and look forward to continuing this tradition next year.
Together, we make a difference. #OwlProud #OwlCares
