Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere — from homework help to social media feeds — but what is really happening behind the screen?

Join Matt Silverman, technology journalist and podcast/video producer, for an engaging, interactive talk on what parents need to know about AI and how it is shaping our kids’ world. We will explore:

• How AI and social media shape what kids see online
• When AI helps—and when it crosses into cheating
• What “generative AI” (like ChatGPT) means and why ethics matter

No tech background needed! Walk away with practical tips and a better understanding of how to help your child confidently navigate a world that is increasingly powered by AI.

All K-12 parents are welcome. This event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7:00 PM at Lynbrook High School.
