Lynbrook High School hosts first College and Career Fair

More than 80 guest representatives of colleges, universities, police departments, military branches and trade schools were present at Lynbrook High School’s first College and Career Fair on April 15.
The Lynbrook High School gymnasium was filled with vibrant energy as juniors and seniors toured dozens of tables that showcased exciting possibilities. Guests exposed students to diverse options as post-graduate plans are being made. New connections were formed as guests shared details about their institutions and students asked thoughtful questions. Lynbrook’s first College and Career Fair was a great opportunity for juniors and seniors to find paths to succeed beyond graduation.
“This fair will open doors and expand possibilities for every student who attended,” Principal Matthew Sarosy said.
“By connecting with colleges and industry professionals, our students will gain valuable insight into the many paths available to them,” Guidance Chairperson Sue Moller said, “and the confidence to take the next step toward their future.”
