LHS Owls fly to Europe for spring break trip

During spring break, a group of 25 LHS students traveled across four countries: Switzerland, Italy, France and Spain, immersing themselves in each country’s culture, history and traditions.
In Switzerland, students enjoyed a boat tour on Lake Lucerne, explored the historic wooden Chapel Bridge and ascended Mount Pilatus for breathtaking views.
In Italy, they visited the Lake Como region, attended Easter Sunday Mass at the Cathedral of Como and explored Cinque Terre, where students experienced the local cuisine and coastal scenery. Traveling through the south of France, they stopped in Monaco, visited a perfume factory, explored the Papal Palace in Avignon and saw the famous Pont du Gard aqueduct. They also toured the medieval city of Carcassonne.
The journey concluded in Barcelona, Spain, where students took a guided bike tour of the city and attended a traditional flamenco performance.
It was an unforgettable educational experience that allowed students to broaden their global perspectives while creating lasting memories.
