Marion Street welcomes ALS Ride for Life

Marion Street was proud to welcome the ALS Ride For Life on Monday during ALS Awareness Month. The organization is known for its annual ALS Ride For Life event, which raises awareness and support in the fight to find a cure for ALS. Inspired by their visit, Marion Street Student Council led a school-wide fundraising initiative to support the foundation’s mission. Through the generosity of our students, staff and families, the Student Council proudly raised over $3,800 to donate to the ALS Ride For Life foundation.
Student Council President Mia Wong and Vice President Rosina Arcella presented the check to Christine Pendergast, who continues to lead the Ride for Life in honor of her late husband, Chris Pendergast, and his lasting legacy. We are incredibly proud of our students for making a difference in the lives of others through their compassion, leadership and community spirit.
