Theater Program
Lynbrook schools has a rich theatrical history, producing high quality musical productions in all of our elementary and secondary schools and the high school also producing a play in the spring.
At the elementary and middle school levels, “Kids” and “Junior” versions of well known shows are presented while the high school produces a full length musical in the fall complete with a live student pit orchestra. All productions are extra-curricular and rehearse after school hours with participation open to all. Interested students can audition for either the stage or the “pit” at the high school or choose to be part of the backstage/technical crew. Students with an artisitc flair may also assist in the painting and decorating of sets and scenery.
