Building Calendar Subscriptions
Welcome, Lynbrook families! To help you stay connected with your child's school events, we offer subscribable iCal links for each of our buildings and for district-wide events.
What is an iCal link? An iCal link automatically syncs school events, early dismissals, and important dates to your personal smartphone or computer calendar, such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook. Instead of entering events by hand, your calendar updates on its own whenever the school makes a change.
How to subscribe: Right-click (or long-press on a mobile device) the link for your building below and select "Copy Link." Then paste it into your calendar app using the steps for your device.
Tip: Copy the link rather than clicking it. Clicking may import a one-time copy of the calendar that will not update when changes are made.
Step-by-step instructions for your device (click to expand)
iPhone or iPad (Apple Calendar)
- Copy the iCal link for your building.
- Open Settings, tap Apps, then Calendar. (On older versions of iOS, tap Calendar directly from Settings.)
- Tap Calendar Accounts, then Add Account, then Other.
- Tap Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link, tap Next, then tap Save.
Google Calendar
- Copy the iCal link for your building.
- On a computer, go to calendar.google.com. (Subscriptions cannot be added from the Google Calendar phone app.)
- On the left side, next to Other calendars, click the + sign and choose From URL.
- Paste the link and click Add calendar. The calendar will then appear on your phone as well. New events may take several hours to appear.
Microsoft Outlook
- Copy the iCal link for your building.
- In Outlook on the web or the new Outlook app, open Calendar and select Add calendar.
- Choose Subscribe from web, paste the link, give the calendar a name, and select Import.
- In the classic Outlook desktop app, go to Home, select Add Calendar, then From Internet, and paste the link.
